Didn’t think a bed tent would do much but it honestly helped heaps. My daughter likes having her own “little room” on the bed. Blocks the light from the hallway and stops the dog jumping on her bed as well which is a bonus lol. Setup was easier than I expected.

It is easy to assemble; Doesn’t need much space in the room.

  17. Sky (verified owner)

It is perfect for quiet time.

  18. Marga (verified owner)

Used this during sensory sessions, surprisingly sturdy. Not therapy-grade but very useful.

  19. Kendra (verified owner)

Bought this for my daughter who gets overwhelmed by noise. She now calls it her “quiet pod”. She’ll drag in a blanket, torch, two hundred dolls and just chill. The blackout level surprised me. basically pitch dark even with the big window open. Fabric could be thicker but honestly it’s doing the job, so no complaints here. Great buy!

  20. Murray (verified owner)

Absolute lifesaver!!!! We set this up beside my son’s bed because he wakes from every tiny sound. With the tent on he sleeps deeper and longer, and frankly so do I. Easy to assemble, though folding it back down still feels like wrestling a stingray. Worth every cent.

  21. Gavin (verified owner)

Honestly didn’t think this would make a difference but it’s changed our evenings. My stepson gets overwhelmed after school, especially when the younger kids are running around. Now he disappears into the tent for 10–15 minutes, comes out calmer, and talks more. Setup was fast. Fold-down… still working on it lol.

  22. Debbie (verified owner)

Quiet, contained space = gold for emotional regulation. I use this tent when kids are overwhelmed or need a break during sessions. The blackout lets them focus on breathing without distractions. Great addition to the therapy toolkit.

  23. Ruwan (verified owner)

I bought this for ONE child. Now all 3 cram in there like sardines and call it their fort. It’s survived their chaos, so that’s a pretty glowing review. 5 stars mate!

  24. Emmy (verified owner)

Blackout is better than I expected. My kid knocked it over once climbing too fast but it bounced back fine. Pretty happy with it overall.

  25. Sam (verified owner)

If you told me a tent could fix bedtime chaos I’d have laughed but here we are. Kid falls asleep faster, wakes less, and I get actual sleep. Haha

  26. Hugh (verified owner)

We’ve had a few kids come through recently who struggle with shared spaces. This tent helped every single one feel more settled. Gives them a bit of control over their environment. Packs down flat which is handy when rooms change around.

  27. Melinda (verified owner)

Participant uses this after community outings to decompress. Packaging was easy to open (important for him). Customer service confirmed the measurements quickly when I emailed. Good experience overall

  28. Alicia (verified owner)

So good omg. Came fast, easy to set up, kid sleeps better!

  29. Tim (verified owner)

Long weeks away and my daughter gets rattled at night. This tent helps her feel like she’s got a little bubble of safety even when I’m not home. The blackout part works great. Took a bit to fold back down but my partner got the hang of it.

  30. Christian (verified owner)

Used this tent during my placement across two different homes and found it consistently helpful as a low-stimulation refuge. Kids used it for reading, breathing exercises, sensory breaks, and even conflict de-escalation.
The material is soft but firm, the blackout level is excellent for kids who need reduced visual input, and the shape feels “den-like” in a comforting way. I’d absolutely use one in my future practice. 👍

  31. TJ (verified owner)

ok so I didnt think a tent would fix bedtime chaos but here we are… kid climbs in, zip zip, lights out, suddenly he’s calm?? like what?? been about 2 weeks now and honestly its part of the routine. shipping was quicker than expected too which shocked me a bit.

  32. CJ (verified owner)

its alright. does what it says. folding it tho… could use some…err simplifying?

  33. Cathy (verified owner)

Trialled this tent during placement with a child who experiences high sensory demand after school. Within minutes of stepping inside the tent their breathing slowed and their body language softened.
That kind of immediate shift doesn’t happen often with simple products. It’s a good reminder that sometimes the environment itself is the intervention.

  34. Layla (verified owner)

Didn’t expect much but honestly it works. Bedtime smoother now.

  35. Noemi (verified owner)

I use this tent in a small sensory room at school. Students who feel overwhelmed can step inside for a few minutes to regroup.
    It’s simple but very effective.

Why does our Single Size Privacy Bed Tent work?

Privacy, Comfort & Made To Fit

This kids’ bed tent offers a private, cosy space, ideal for reading, sleeping, or simply relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. King single also available here.

Feels Like Their Own Safe Space

Unlike canopy-style tents that drape overhead, this box-shaped design creates four walls around them — like having their own tiny room. For sensory-seeking kids, that enclosed feeling provides the deep pressure and containment they crave. For anxious children, it’s a predictable, consistent space that feels protective.

Just the Right Height for your Little One

At 3-14 years old, kids don’t need massive headroom. This tent is proportioned for small bodies — they can sit up comfortably to read or play, but it’s not so tall that it loses that cozy, contained feeling. It’s sized to feel snug without feeling cramped.

Transitions Them to Solo Sleep

Many sensory kids struggle with the jump from parent’s room to solo sleeping. This tent creates a “middle step” — they’re in their own bed, but the enclosed walls make it feel safer and less exposed than an open bedroom. Parents report easier bedtime separation with the tent up.

Durable Enough for Daily Climbing In and Out

Little kids aren’t gentle. They dive in, they bounce, they drag toys inside. Steel frame poles (not flimsy fiberglass) hold up to that chaos. Reinforced zipper tracks survive hundreds of open-close cycles. This is built for the reality of young childhood, not careful adult use.
