Didn’t expect to keep using it myself but the bed tent genuinely makes sleep feel calmer. I used to take magnesium glycinate for supposedly deeper sleep as I saw it a lot on tiktok. Im not sure it was working for me. then a friend recommended a blackout tent as opposed to blackout curtains which are expensive. This tent really did the trick!!!

We installed the tent on a king single bed and it fits well. The blackout fabric helps reduce light from outside.

I got one of those for my daughter that has a hard time falling asleep at night, it has made a huge change in our daily sleeping routine. Thx

  2. Agav (verified owner)

    great product, easy to use.
I wish it was a little sturdier.

  3. Tey (verified owner)

Absolutely love my bed tent! It blocks out light well enough, to make iit easier to fall asleep.
Super easy to set up. Super fast delivery Worth the price.

  4. Louis (verified owner)

My daughter has Adhd and this has been a handy tool for sensory control, esp. at night. Would recommend!

  5. Karen (verified owner)

If you have someone at home with ADHD, this is great for avoiding sensory overload. Assembly is very easy too.

  6. Jess

A little flimsy than I anticipated but does the job

  7. Mona

Perfect for single bed and solo apartments.

  8. Tim

Pretty solid. Took a while to figure out but now it’s up, it’s great. Kid’s sleeping better. Worth it.

  9. Conrad (verified owner)

Used this tent for calming space. Light proofing could be better but structure’s solid.

  10. Rasheed

I trialled this tent during a home session with a child who struggles with transitions, and it worked better than expected. He went straight inside, zipped it up and actually stayed put. big win. The structure is lightweight but stable enough for repeated climbing in/out. Only thing I’d tweak is clearer folding instructions because I had to guess a bit. But overall, excellent tool for sensory regulation in busy homes.

  11. Nicole (verified owner)

Bought it for my teenager, not a little kid. He said it’s the only place he doesn’t feel “in everyone’s face”. He sits inside with noise-cancelling headphones and decompresses. That alone made it worth buying. Glady recommend!!

  12. Reggie (verified owner)

We use this for quiet breaks throughout the school day. Kids with sensory needs gravitate to it instantly. Light to move but doesn’t fall over, thankfully.

  13. Steph (verified owner)

    👌👌👍 very good

  14. Calvin

My little brother uses this as his “secret hideout.” I’m not allowed in unless I knock 😂 It’s cute and keeps him occupied, so I’m not complaining.

  15. Abel (verified owner)

Bought this during a rough patch when my son couldn’t cope with after-school noise. He now disappears into the tent, puts on soft music and just… breathes. Changed the whole vibe of our evenings. Quick setup and no weird plastic smell, worth it.

  16. Georgie (verified owner)

Strong tent. Blackout is better than I expected. My kid knocked it over once climbing too fast but it bounced back fine. Pretty happy with it overall!

  17. Gracie

    Does the job. 5 stars

  18. Kate (verified owner)

Great option for clients needing a low-stimulation space. One client started using it before morning routines and it cut the daily overwhelm right down. Portable and neutral enough to suit any bedroom.

  19. Wilson (verified owner)

    Strong, simple and effective 🙌

  20. Bella (verified owner)

We used it as a sensory break space during the morning rush. Total hit. Some kids just needed 2 mins inside to regulate. Wiped clean easily.

  21. Randy (verified owner)

Straight after training he crawls in here, shoes half on, socks everywhere, but he CALMS. That’s the important bit!

  22. Amanda (verified owner)

Great low-stimulus space for grounding. 👍

  23. Cassie (verified owner)

Tent arrived while I was on shift. My partner said the delivery was smooth and the box wasn’t trashed (rare for our area). Our son uses it at night when the house gets loud. Helps heaps!

  24. Maddie (verified owner)

Used this tent with a child who struggles moving from loud spaces to quiet tasks. The enclosed feel helped them regulate far quicker than usual. Packaging was simple, minimal waste, which I appreciate. If the makers ever add colour options, I’d happily buy a set.

  25. Chris (verified owner)

    Good enough

  26. Sam (verified owner)

We used it in our classroom calm corner. The kids instantly understood it was a quiet zone. It’s been used daily for weeks and still looks new.

  27. Kyla (verified owner)

    good product.

  28. Rhys (verified owner)

pretty good overall. tricky to fold first time but fine after.

  29. Tracy

good but folding it is weird.

  30. Annie

The tent provides a contained environment where teens can decompress without feeling isolated from others. Very helpful tool.

  31. CK

I purchased the bed tent for a patient who has difficulty sleeping due to sensory sensitivity. Their bedroom environment used to feel overwhelming when lights or movement were visible from outside the room.
Once the bed tent was installed, the difference was immediate. The enclosed space reduced visual distractions and helped them feel more secure during sleep. For support workers and families looking for a simple environmental adjustment rather than a complicated intervention, this has been very effective.

  32. Tina (verified owner)

tent is good. took me a bit to get it on the bed frame properly though. once its up its fine.

  33. Richard (verified owner)

This tent has become a consistent regulation space for the young person I support. After outings they go straight inside with headphones for about 10 minutes. It’s helped reduce meltdowns significantly.

  34. Daphne (verified owner)

We installed the bed tent for a participant who struggles with sensory input at night. Previously they had difficulty settling because they could see movement outside their bedroom.
The tent reduced those visual triggers significantly. They now describe their bed as where they feel safe enough to fall asleep.

  35. Angie (verified owner)

I often recommend environmental strategies before introducing more complex interventions. This tent has proven to be a very effective tool for children who experience sensory overload.
The enclosed structure reduces stimulation while still allowing the child to feel connected to the room around them. One of my clients began using the tent as part of a daily regulation routine before homework.

  36. Laurie

Good once set up but attaching it to the bunk frame took a bit of figuring out.

  37. Brenden (verified owner)

We bought the bed tent for our son after months of bedtime struggles. He wakes up at every tiny sound or light change. The tent turned his bed into a quiet little bubble where he feels safe enough to relax.
Now he climbs in, zips it up, reads a few pages with a torch, and falls asleep on his own. That never used to happen before.

  38. Gino (verified owner)

I actually got the bed tent for a different reason than most people probably do. I live in shared student housing where there’s always noise and light from other rooms. My bed is in a small space near a window, so sleeping was always difficult. The tent turned my bed into a private little zone! Once the flap is closed, it blocks enough light that I can relax and fall asleep even when the house is still busy. Love it!

  39. Chantal (verified owner)

Sleep used to be the hardest part of our day. My son gets overwhelmed by movement and light in the room, which made bedtime unpredictable. The bed tent gave him a defined sleeping space that feels safe and calm. Now bedtime is part of a routine instead of a nightly battle.

  40. Dina (verified owner)

    Bedtime is waaaaaaay easier!

  41. Carrie

I helped install this bed tent for a patient who deals with sensory overload during nighttime routines. Previously they struggled to fall asleep because they could see movement outside their room. Tha tent reduced those visual distractions significantly. Within a week their sleep routine became noticeably calmer. Really workd wonders

  42. Mich

I know these are marketed mostly for kids but I bought one for myself because I struggle with anxiety at night. Having a small enclosed space around the bed actually helps me feel more grounded and secure.
It reminds me of those blanket forts people used to make as kids haha oddly comforting.

  43. Stef

My daughter shares a room with her younger sibling and used to complain constantly about the lights and movement at night. The bed tent gave her a sense of having her own private space even though the room is shared.

  44. Sylvieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

the bed tent was mainly because I work late hours and my sleep schedule is weird. It blocks the morning light really well and helps me disconnect from the room visually.Honestly didn’t expect to like it this much but now I sleep in it every night.

  45. Angie

At first I thought the bed tent would feel weird but it’s actually pretty cool. I read inside it before sleeping and it feels like a tiny room.

  46. Liv

Because I work long shifts and odd hours, sleeping during daylight can be difficult. The bed tent blocks enough light that I can sleep properly even when the sun is up.

  47. Tanya (verified owner)

We installed the tent on a king single bed and it fits well. The blackout fabric helps reduce light from outside.

Why does our King Single Privacy Black Bed Tent work?

Tailored for King Single Beds

Purpose-built to fit King Single mattresses perfectly, this tent offers more space without compromising the snug, secure feel that makes this tent a personal sanctuary. Single size also available.

Safe Retreat for Sensory Overload Recovery

When overstimulation hits, they need somewhere dark and enclosed to regulate — not a lecture about calming down. The tent provides immediate sensory relief: reduced light, contained space, predictable environment. Many parents report meltdowns shortening from 45+ minutes to 10-15 minutes once kids can retreat to the tent.

Quick Setup Supports Unpredictable Sensory Needs

Sensory overwhelm doesn’t schedule itself. The pop-up design means the tent can be ready in minutes when a bad sensory day hits, then packed away when they’re having a good week. Flexibility matters when sensory needs fluctuate day-to-day or even hour-to-hour.

Enough Space for Sensory Tools Inside

Weighted blankets. Noise-canceling headphones. Fidget toys. Dim book light. Favorite textures. At king single size (107cm × 203cm), there’s room for the sensory regulation tools they actually use. This becomes their full sensory toolkit space, not just an empty tent.

Creates Predictable Sensory Boundaries

When the world feels unpredictable and overwhelming, having physical walls that define “your space” helps the nervous system settle. The box structure with four enclosed sides creates clear boundaries — inside is controlled, outside is not. For kids with sensory processing needs, that predictability allows their body to actually relax.
